Little Lives Snapshots of Childhood 1800 to the Present Day. This exhibition touches on stories of childhood over the last two centuries. Childhood objects from the museum collections together with photographs and paintings offer snapshots of the changing experience of childhood.

Family Friendly Autism Activity Day

A family friendly day at Norwich Castle particularly suitable for visitors with autism, their friends and families. The day will feature exciting images taken by pupils from local complex needs schools during their recent Takeover Day at Norwich Castle. Visitors are also invited to snap their own selfie during the last few days of the Fishermen and Kings exhibition and there will be a free tour of our Castle Keep at 12.00 noon. There will be a quiet space in Picnic Room to lunch or relax and of course all of the Castle’s permanent collection is available to enjoy. A family friendly day at Norwich Castle particularly suitable for visitors with autism, their friends and families. There will be free tours of the Castle Keep at 11.00am, 1.30& 2.30pm. Other activities include lollipop picture frame making and a crazy face portrait collage challenge. Lunch space is available in the Picnic Room and there will be a quiet space in the Cotman Art Gallery.
