Stonemasonry Demonstrations

The Guild Master and his stonemason apprentices from Gildencraft Stone Masonry* demonstrate the artistry and precision of their ancient craft; marking the 920th anniversary of the medieval Guild of St Stephen & St George and the construction of Norwich Castle. *Gildencraft Stone Masonry C.I.C. trains apprentice stonemasons and mates (labourers) promoting and sustaining the ancient craft of stonemasonry. Artist Talk: Enter the Fatima

Since 2009 a wax sculpture named Fatima has accompanied design-collective Åbäke on their travels, meeting people of different nationalities and professions in order to learn about the world around her. As part of British Art Show 8, Fatima will assist Åbäke with a public talk.

Children of the Mantic Stain

Children of the Mantic Stain is a new ballet by Linder and choreographer Kenneth Tindall, with score by Maxwell Sterling performed by Northern Ballet dancers. The ‘eighth dancer’ is the Diagrams of Love: Marriage of Eyes, a work currently on show at Norwich Castle as part of British Art Show 8.
